The RISE Foundation presents New Sober St. Patrick’s Day® in Dublin! A Movement of Family-Friendly, Alcohol-Free Event on March 17th 2015.

This Sober St. Patrick’s Day® is the Seventh City to Join Growing National Movement of Family-Friendly, Alcohol-Free Event

Do you fancy celebrating St Patrick's day this year with a difference? Why not come and bring the children to this Sober St. Patrick’s Day® event where there will be set dancing,Irish traditional music,singing,story telling and just all around great craic without alcohol.Along with the well known Irish traditional band Ladlane there will be many surprise special guests on the day performing in between the ceile dances.This event started in New York and is now spreading to Cities all over the US and now Ireland.

The Sober St. Patrick’s Day® event will be held in the Gresham hotel on St Patrick’s Day at 3.30pm until 7pm. It is a big party that will provide a healthy and safe experience for family, friends & people, celebrating the best in Irish entertainment in an alcohol-free setting.

The purpose of Sober St. Patrick’s Day® is captured in the organisation’s mission statement:

“To reclaim the true spirit of the day and to change the perception and experience of what St. Patrick’s Day can be, by providing family-friendly, alcohol free events celebrating the best of Irish music, dance and entertainment.
